In a collaborative effort to fortify the frontlines against illegal drugs, LGU Saguday, in tandem with sangguniang bayan members, punong barangays, PNP and DepEd key leaders, has successfully wrapped up a transformative two-day Community-Based Anti-Illegal Drugs Advocacy (CBAIDA) Training facilitated by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Administration (PDEA) Quirino. The intensive program was attended by distinguished figures, including IAV Rosario V. Abella, PDEA Quirino Provincial Officer, and Atty Cherwin Maggulun, the representative from PDEA’s Region 2 Legal Prosecution Unit.
Throughout the training sessions, the collective focus was on equipping local leaders and educators with a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted challenges posed by illegal drugs. The engagement with legal intricacies, community involvement strategies, and effective advocacy methodologies has empowered participants to play an instrumental role in safeguarding their communities.
