Saguday is bursting with pride as Gene Allen Dairon R. Ordinario snatched gold in the 4x100m men open event during the ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships.

Gene’s lightning speed and effortless grace led his team from the University of the Philippines to victory with a remarkable time of 42.71 seconds, leaving their opponents from the National University and Tarlac Agricultural University trailing behind with a time of 43.68 seconds and 45.10 seconds, respectively.

Gene’s success on the track and field has inspired and paved the way for his younger siblings, Lea Kriszelda Ordinario and Bernard Kendrick Ordinario, who also won gold in the 4x400m universal relay event, just a day prior, while representing the University of Sto. Tomas.

Saguday is immensely proud of Gene’s and his siblings’ achievements and considers them a source of inspiration and pride for the community. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for sports have paid off, and their victories continue to bring joy and celebration to the people of Saguday.
